Duncan grocery store worker tests positive for COVID-19

A grocery store worker at the Real Canadian Superstore in the Cowichan Valley recently tested positive for COVID-19.

A grocery store worker in the Cowichan Valley has become infected with the novel coronavirus.

According to a bulletin posted on Loblaws’s website on Tuesday, an employee working at the Real Canadian Superstore in Duncan recently tested positive for COVID-19.

The company did not disclose when the employee tested positive but said the employee last worked at the store on Feb. 12.

Ontario-based Loblaws Inc. is the parent company of both Real Canadian Superstore and Shoppers Drugmart and routinely posts COVID-19 updates on its website.

An employee working at the same store last month also tested positive for the virus.
