WATCH: Curling royalty visited Vancouver Island this weekend as Kevin Martin held clinics at the Esquimalt Curling Club.
The four-time Brier champion and 2010 Olympic gold medalist retired from competitive play in 2014, but that hasn’t stopped the Edmonton, Alberta product from travelling across the country and internationally to pass down his passion for the game.
Those lucky enough to share the pebbled ice with Martin got tips on technique and stories from Martin’s illustrious 30-year career. Martin says it’s all about giving back to the curling community that supported him during his time on the competitive tour.
