Comox Valley RCMP say they have recovered three bicycles that were stolen from an elementary school, but eight more remain missing.

The bicycles were stolen from Courtenay Elementary School on Dec. 28, 2019 during a break and enter.

RCMP say that the bicycles had been donated to the school so children who do not own bicycles can participate in school programs and activities.

Police say that the bicycles are all the same model, a child-sized Norco Storm, but some were green, some were yellow, and some were blue.
