A dealership on Vancouver Island has closed temporarily over possible exposure to the novel coronavirus.
Comox Valley Toyota announced on social media that the dealership has experienced a potential COVID-19 exposure event and will be closed temporarily until Feb. 26.
“Island Health is diligently undergoing their contact tracing protocols to ensure any and all necessary persons are notified of this potential exposure, including a letter to our staff of medium risk exposure,” Comox Valley Toyota said in a letter posted on Facebook.
The dealership says it has been “doing everything it takes” to keep everyone who enters the dealership safe and that the temporary closure is being done out of an “abundance of caution.”
Comox Valley Toyota is located on Crown Isle Boulevard in Courtenay.
