UPDATE: According to Drive BC, the highway has reopened. Delays are expected.
A caller says the only occupant of the gray vehicle was sent to hospital shaken up and with injuries, including broken wrists. CHEK News has reached out to BC Emergency Services for more information.
Original story follows:
Commuters may experience a slow go on the Trans Canada Highway near Duncan due to a vehicle incident that’s shuttering northbound lanes Tuesday afternoon.
In an update just before 5 p.m., Drive BC said the highway at Koksilah Road was closed to those heading north but noted that a detour was in place.
Photos sent to CHEK News show a badly-damaged gray car blocking lanes and a truck that appears to be driven off the highway into a ditch.
