A new survey shows Canadians are split on the idea of allowing pets in the passenger cabin on planes, and where you stand on the issue seems to depend a lot on how old you are.
The Angus Reid poll shows 45 per cent of those surveyed are fine with flying with pets, but 42 per cent say pets should be kept in cargo.
Younger women were 66 per cent in favour, while older men were 61 per cent opposed.
The main reasons cited for not wanting pets as passengers include allergies at 41 per cent, with hygiene at 26 per cent.
In today’s CHEK Point, we’re asking what you think.
