The multiple-award winning Jersey Boys makes its Victoria debut at the Royal Theatre on Tuesday night.

The musical charts the rise to fame of Franki Valli and the Four Seasons.

On Monday, the cast was at the Roundhouse in Vic West to croon some more contemporary tunes for a good cause.

They took part in an event to help raise funds for the Children’s Health Foundation

Something the cast likes to do if their busy schedule allows for it.

“Sometime we just get lucky and we come to a place where there’s a charity involved with this sort of thing,” said Cory Greenman, who plays Tommy DeVito.

“We get to stand in front and speak for it, which is really exciting.”

Greenman will be belting out more familiar songs such as Sherry, Walk Like a Man and Big Girls Don’t Cry when Jersey Boys kicks off an eight performance run on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

The show spent 12-years on Broadway, and the touring version has also been a huge success.

There are nightly performances Tuesday through Sunday at the Royal Theatre, as well as matinees on Saturday and Sunday.
