Canada’s Ryan Nembhard is among 20 players named as a watch-list candidate for the 2023 Bob Cousy Award, given to the top point guard in U.S. college basketball.

Nembhard of Aurora, Ont., is heading into his sophomore NCAA season with the Creighton Bluejays.

The six-foot guard was named the Big East freshman of the year last season averaging 11.3 points and 4.4 assists a night.

He is the younger brother of NBA point guard Andrew Nembhard who is currently in his rookie season with the Indiana Pacers.
