Vancouver Island Soap Works founder Debbie Cooper said the olive oil-based soap, which is available now,  represents the “working man.”

Cooper said after selling their Guinness soap, they wanted to create something with a popular beer on Vancouver Island. While the soap is created, water is replaced with Lucky Lager.

Cooper says the soap smells like vanilla and spearmint oil, but also has a hoppy scent like beer does.

The design of the soap resembles a brick. The price is $6.99 a bar.

Vancouver Island Soap Works is located in Metchosin, where the company has been organic farming for over 17 years. The soap, which is sold around Vancouver Island, is vegetable-based.
