The body of 42-year-old Daniel Borthwick was found in North Saanich.
The body of a 42-year old Cowichan Bay man reported missing on Wednesday, November 22nd has been found in North Saanich.
Daniel Borthwick was last seen on Tuesday, November 21st in Cowichan Bay taking pictures of seals.
The next day, Sidney/North Saanich RCMP were alerted that an eight-foot zodiac boat that belonged to him had washed up in Deep Cove Bay
An extensive search was carried out but Borthwick could not be found.
His body was discovered on Saturday, November 25th by someone walking on the beach in North Saanich.
Foul play is not suspected.
The BC Coroners Service is Investigating.
