The 15, UVic to Esquimalt, has 22 trips cancelled.
In a statement released to CHEK News, BC Transit says employee illness led to these cancellations.
“Like many other customer-facing organizations, BC Transit is currently experiencing service challenges due to employee illness,” Erin Moore, senior communications and engagement advisor for BC Transit said in an email statement. “The impacts to service have resulted in the need to alter schedules on short notice to reflect changing conditions. This has led to the temporary suspension of some of this weekend’s scheduled service on route 50 in addition to other routes.”
