WATCH: Winter isn’t over yet! Ceilidh Millar has your long-range forecast.
Parts of Vancouver Island were transformed into winter wonderlands this weekend. Nanaimo received its biggest snowfall of the season with 22 centimetres of snow recorded in some areas.
An Arctic front sitting to the south of the Island is ushering in a cold air mass from the northeast causing temperatures to dip to near-freezing.
Conditions will remain cold but dry into Monday. A wind warning from Environment Canada remains in effect for Greater Victoria tonight with gusts expected to top 90 km/h.
