The first heat wave of the season is here.
Sunny skies and very warm air are on tap for the next several days as a strong ridge of high-pressure envelopes British Columbia.
Temperatures away from the coast will reach the low 30s tomorrow and Wednesday, which is about 10 degrees above averages for the middle of June.
The ridge and very warm air are expected to stick around until Wednesday. Some cooling will occur on Thursday.
