7-Eleven Canada is notifying customers an employee of its store at 1327 Douglas Street in Victoria has a confirmed case of COVID-19.

7-Eleven Canada is notifying customers that an employee of one of its downtown Victoria stores has a confirmed case of COVID-19.

The store is located on the corner of Douglas and Johnson streets, at 1327 Douglas St.

“Any customers who may have visited the store between August 10 to August 14 can call 811 for health guidance and information,” 7-Eleven Canada said in an email Friday night.

The store is temporarily closed and the company says the location is being thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

Staff have been asked to self-isolate with pay.

7-Eleven Canada says it plans to re-open the store on or before Aug. 17, in consultation with the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
