A very polite form of vandalism to a park sign in Saanich is getting a lot of attention on social media today.
Someone, a big fan perhaps, decided to rename Rudd Park after American actor Paul Rudd.
Using only cut out paper letters and easily removable tape to add the name “Paul” to the Rudd Park’s wooden sign and a photo of the Ant-Man and Anchorman star.
The alteration was noticed over the weekend and removed on Monday.
The prank though continues to live on social media where the tribute is receiving high praise.
“Such a Canadian thing to do” wrote one person on Twitter.
“These vandals are hilarious.” wrote another.
No word on what Paul Rudd thought of the impromptu honour.
