This Week in History: The Newcombe Collection

CHEK

Charles and William Newcombe are responsible for one of the Royal BC Museum and Archives’ most treasured collection. Most of the 14-hundred pieces of First Nations art are not on display but upon request, museum staff are only too happy to share. The purchase of this remarkable collection was announced January 25th, 1961 and it’s well worth a look.
