CHEK

A man being dropped off at a hotel in Smithers, stepped out of a vehicle and right into the path of a runaway deer.

Suddenly Cary McCook found himself the deer in the headlights.

He says he heard galloping before he was runover by the animal last Saturday night in Northwestern BC.

The hit and run was captured on the hotel’s security camera.

Its reported that the deer was running away from a dog when it came tearing through the parking lot.

McCook goes down in a heap but can soon be seen getting up and walking back towards the vehicle.

The member of the rap group Reka-NatioN  later provided an update on Facebook.

“I’m fine just a sore shoulder and I’m happy about your concerns”

“Laughter is Good Medicine, I’m proud to bring laughter and joy to everyone.”

The video has now been viewed more than 25,000 times on Facebook.

He also writes it was good thing the collision was captured by a security camera because no one believed his story at first.

The fact that it happened on April 1st didn’t help.
