One man was taken into custody after an incident in Victoria prompted a heavy police response late this afternoon.
Police were called to a home on the 400-block of Stannard avenue, north of the Ross Bay Cemetery, around 5 p.m.
VicPD describe the incident as a neighbour dispute involving a weapon.
One witness says it was a fight over one of them parking in front of the other persons house.
They say that the situation escalated with reports of one threatening the other with a knife.
Police took one man into custody without incident about 30 minutes later.
There were no injuries and the investigation continues.
