The series is called Ollie & Emma, 11 minute episodes shot for the web but producer/director Les Bland is hoping it will transition to conventional TV.
” The web series is called Ollie & Emma. It traces the relationship between a First Nations woman & a young Caucasian man, ” according to Bland, also the creator of the show.
” From the moment they meet there’s an attraction and the webisode series, the 6 episodes run from that moment to their first date to their first kiss.”
The shows title roles are played by Michael Bell and First Nation actor Chehala Leonard.
“We’re really excited about the shots we’ve got so far, the footage we have is excellent and we think this has come together really nicely”, says Bland.
