One of the two brothers wanted in connection with the murders of a B.C.-born woman and her husband is now in police custody
49-year old Tony Reed turned himself in today in San Diego, California.
He and his brother, 53-year old John Reed, are wanted for the murders of a Kimberly B.C.-born Monique Patenaude, 46, and her husband Patrick Shunn, 45.
They were reported missing from their Arlington, Washington home on April 12th.
The couple’s vehicles were found later that week in a wooded area near Oso, Washington.
Their bodies have not been found but police say they discovered evidence of murder inside both the vehicles and at their home.
On April 18th, one of the vehicles driven by the Reed brothers was located in Phoenix, Arizona and they were believed to have crossed the border into Mexico.
According to police, suspect John Reed is still at large.
