Massive search for a missing little boy from Union Bay has happy ending
A massive search in Union Bay for a missing Comox Valley toddler has a happy ending.
The three-year-old wandered away from his large, wooded Union Bay backyard at approximately 8 o’clock Sunday night.
Police say the little boy was playing with his brother at the time.
The Comox Valley RCMP, along with Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue, have been scouring the area since last night.
“Last night we used the UAV, or the unmanned aerial vehicle to help assist with that and our police dogs services, this morning the air services up flying in the area and just regular members doing patrols,” says Cst. Rob Gardner of Comox Valley RCMP. “If anybody sees this child we’re asking they please contact 911. If you find the bike please let us know where you find the bike, that’s key for us right now.”
Just before 11 am Monday morning, the little boy was found by someone on an ATV.
The child was walking out of the woods.
