Saanich Police say Christopher Wilson is considered armed and dangerous.

Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a home invasion that left one man injured last week.

Christopher Wilson, 31, of North Saanich, is considered armed and dangerous. He is described as 5’8,” 179 pounds, with short red hair and blue eyes. Police are asking anyone who sees Wilson to not approach him and call 911 immediately.

According to Saanich Police, a 36-year-old man from Saanich was struck in the head with a firearm after two men forced their way into a home in the 4700 block of Rosehill Road on June 21. Police said the two suspects were each carrying a firearm and demanded money and property from the two men inside the house.

The injured man was treated at a hospital and has since been released. The other victim, a 33-year-old Saanich man, was not harmed.

Police were called after the suspects left the home. Officers from the Saanich Police detective division are investigating and are still attempting to identify the other suspect involved in the home invasion.
