A close call call for 3 kids today at at Englishman River Provincial Park in Errington after each fell over an estimated 18m/60ft embankment this afternoon.
Errington VFD Chief Troy Bater says they were called to an area behind campsite 25 at the park right after 5:45 p.m.
They were told two kids, brothers aged 7 and 15, had gone over an embankment and weren’t responding.
A third brother, a 12-year old, who was trying to find them, had also gone over the embankment and got caught in a tree.
Arrowsmith Search and Rescue was called into perform a high-angle rope rescue to reach the boy in the tree.
Meanwhile, the other two brothers had managed to walk away after their fall.
All three were taken to hospital with what are being called minor injuries.
