The NDP lead in the Courtenay-Comox riding has been extended.
The NDP now has a 13 vote lead, up from the 9 vote lead, counted on election night.
The BC Chief Electoral officer says they will now begin counting the absentee votes.
They number more than two-thousand.
The count will carry on into Tuesday.
