An accident between a vehicle and a pedestrian in Victoria late this afternoon has left two men in hospital, one with potentially life threatening injuries.
The accident happened in the unit block of Gorge Road East and Irma Street.

The male driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was later sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Victoria Police patrol section and collision reconstruction teams are investigating and the 29-hundred block of Irma street is closed.
“Initial indications are the car was traveling east bound on Gorge Road, so speaking with witnesses and the parties involved, we’ll be able to flush out some more details of what exactly happened,” says Victoria Police Cst. Matt Rutherford.
“The collision reconstruction team’s here to do their work. They go through a very methodical process to determine what exactly happened transpired.”
