The long running Police Complaints Commission investigation into Victoria Police Chief Frank Elsner, appears to be going to take even longer.
The commission announcing that the retired judge heading the case accepted a request from Elsner for further investigation.
RCMP and the Vancouver Police team is conducting that investigation.
In 2015, the Police Complaint Commissioner ordered an external investigation.
That’s after allegations surfaced that Elsner had exchanged inappropriate messages on Twitter with a member of another police department.
