The coroner has identified the human remains found in Nanaimo as those of a man who went missing earlier this year.
40-year-old Marlon Orozco-Castillo of Nanaimo was reported missing by his family in May.
His remains were discovered by city work crews on July 4th in the 2200 block of Bowen Road.
RCMP say there is no evidence of foul play.
The coroner continues to investigate.
