A former Canadian Forces captain stands charged in connection with a sexual assault at CFB Esquimalt in 2010.
Simon Duvall is a former officer of the 4th Artillery Regiment (General Support).
He is accused of a sexual assault against another member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Duvall was also charged last Fall with a similar sexual assault against another CF member at 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown< New Brunswick.
The assault was reported to have taken place between December 2010 and January 2011.
Because the accused was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces at the time of the reported assault, the matter is now proceeding in the military justice system for possible court martial.
