A low pressure system circulating over the central coast of BC and Haida Gwaii is sliding southward, and will be reaching the northern tip of Vancouver Island this evening.
The system is slightly unstable, so there is a chance of thundershowers over the Campbell River region.
Showers can be expected for central Vancouver Island by later in the day Saturday, overnight Saturday, and into Sunday morning and early afternoon.
For the southern tip of Vancouver Island, including the Cowichan Valley, Duncan and Victoria, scattered showers are expected to begin overnight Saturday and through Sunday.
