Breeze S3 GT Scooter is only means of transportation for Victoria couple.
Victoria Police are looking for a an elderly couple’s mobility scooter that was stolen during a recent break-in.
It happened overnight Monday, August 1st in an underground parking area in the 1000-block of Southgate Street.
The scooter is Gord and Patricia Riddell’s main form of transportation, says their son, Ted Davies, “Without it, it’s very hard for them to get around.”
The couple, both 89-years-old, purchased the double wide two-person mobility scooter so they could get around together.
The silver Breeze S3 GT two-seater is valued at about 9-thousand dollars.
“It would definitely be a big financial burden to replace it,” Davies said. “This scooter helps them get out and be a part of the community. We really need to get it back.”
If you have information about the theft, or have seen the missing scooter, you are asked to call the VicPD non-Emergency line at (250 ) 995-7654.
