1100 entries draw thousands of spectators to Victoria’s Inner Harbour
The Northwest Deuce Days start tomorrow in Victoria.
Today, the cars started rolling into the city.
Approximately 1100 entries drove off from the ferry from Port Angeles, drawing a crowd of onlookers.
Organizer Al Clarke says entries are coming from all over North America.
“We have a tour coming from Toronto, picking up cars all the way across Canada.
There’s a tour arriving here on the Coho, from San Francisco.
140 of them, they booked the whole ferry.
That’s pretty exciting.”
Registration runs today and tomorrow, with a run on Saturday starting at Clover Point at 10am.
All the cars will be on display on Sunday from 10-3 in the Inner Harbour.
