Tour de Rock riders continue to raise funds in the fight against cancer and today saw barbers getting busy to help with the cause
As tour de rock riders gear up for their big cross Island ride in two weeks time, barbers got busy in Victoria to give them a boost for when they hop on their bikes.
Lineups for haircuts grew long at Brothers Barbershop today, with all the money raised going towards sending children with cancer to Camp Good Times.
Staff donated their time, and all day long clipped eager clients to help the kids.
“Well judging by the amount of money that’s been raised here it’s been great,” said rider Cam Stephen.
“A lot of people coming down, it’s been a revolving door.”
Stephen adds “Every one’s been great here, the barbers’ been awesome, it’s been a great time.”
This year’s Tour De Rock ride takes off on September 24th.
