Pendray Farm in North Saanich is set to welcome thousands of visitors to it’s British Columbia-themed corn maze next week.
A massive corn maze in North Saanich is getting set to welcome thousands of visitors.
British Columbia is the theme this year, with a map of our province, along with mountains and sunshine.
The maze is more than 5.5 hectares in size with 10 kilometres of trails.
This is the second year for Pendray Farm’s corn maze, and they were shocked by just how popular it was last year.
“It was overwhelmingly popular we weren’t prepared,” said a Pendray Farm spokesperson.
“I thought maybe 60 people a week would come and I think we had between 15 and 20 thousand people come.”
Pendray is originally a dairy farm, but the owners say this new agri-tourism venture will allow them to keep their farm in operation.
The corn maze opens September 2nd, and is open Thursday through Sundays.
It will run until the end of October.
