A Comox valley mother who’s ex-husband abducted their four children and brought them to Northern Iraq last year spoke tonight in Courtney about her ongoing fight to bring them home.
Alison Azer told a crowd gathered at a local elementary school about her recent trip to Ottawa where she met MP’s in hopes of raising awareness about her case.
The Azer children, ranging in age from 3 to 11, were taken to a Kurdish region in Northern Iraq by their father, a former Vancouver Island doctor, more than six months ago.
Azer also spoke of what more can be done to help her adding she won’t stop until all 338 MP’s have said they will help.
There’s also been a huge campaign to get them back, including ten-thousand letters sent to the Trudeau government urging action.
