High winds shut down ferry service between mainland and Vancouver Island
UPDATE: Due to high winds on the south coast this afternoon and evening, BC Ferries service is cancelled on the following routes as of 3 pm today:
Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay
Tsawwassen to Duke Point
Tsawwassen to Southern Gulf Islands
BC ferries announced late this afternoon that there will be sailings between Horseshoe Bay and Departure Bay at 7 pm and 9 pm.
