It’s the ballet company’s original adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.
This production features the entire corps de ballet and features principal dancer Andrea Bayne in the starring role of Belle.
The story, of course, is all about romance with Belle visualizing her perfect prince early on, yet discovering him as a hideous creature.
The presentation is colourful, light and breezy…great entertainment for a younger crowd although don’t expect the Disney version.
Beauty and the Beast hits the Royal Theatre stage of Friday & Saturday, May 19th & 20th.
