The run kicked off at mile zero this morning, with legions of like minded walkers and runners taking part simultaneously in runs across Vancouver Island and further afield.
Here, the 5K run started and finished at Mile Zero, Terry Fox’s original destination three & a half decades ago.
During that time over $800-million has been raised in the fight against cancer.
This is now the 36th annual Terry Fox Run.
